Fellowship Church is a great place! We’re in the middle of an experience right now called “Parenthood”, and I’m having so much fun teaching this. Families are a big deal, and God wants us to be at our best. That can only happen when we parent on purpose. Be intentional this week as you lead and interact. Here are a few highlights from Sunday…
- I loved singing “God You Reign”. What an awesome reminder that God paints the night and teaches the sun when to bring a new day. How’s that for a big God? The energy our artists provided today was infectious.
- It’s fun to think about families, and how God wants us to be at our best. I hope this series is helpful. Don’t forget to laugh as a family at some point this week. It helps.
- Students are inviting their parents to come and hear this series. That’s kind of funny! The students at FC are the best.
- A big thanks to those of you who serve our children and students! You’re time, creativity, and love are helping families be at their best. You’re amazing.
- If you haven’t taken the time yet…get a family vision! Take some time and read Joshua 24. It’s a great story and a remarkable conclusion to a life well lived.
- The pictures from the Dominican Republic were moving. I’m so proud of our team that served there, and their willingness to invest in the lives of others.
- Ryan Geiger did a fabulous job with announcements today! Loved it.
- I love having conversations with people who have invited friends. It’s amazing how church changes when you have a stake in the game. Keep inviting!
We’ll wrap up “Parenthood” on Sunday, April 25th with a talk about the “release years”. See you then!
