Where do I go when I arrive on Sunday Morning?

As you enter Garnet Valley Middle School’s lobby you will find signs pointing you in the right direction depending on what age group your children are. Our babies through Kindergarten meet in a secure wing located directly to your right. At our check-in table you will find a whole team of people ready to help you get to the right place. Our 1st through 5th graders meet in the gym located to the left of the auditorium. Simply follow the signs to our check-in table and our host team will greet you, and guide you through our registration process.

How do I check-in my babies through Kindergarten kids?

All children must be checked-in by a parent. This is to protect you as parents, the children, and our workers. When coming to our check-in table you will be asked to sign your child into the appropriate classroom. For our babies and toddlers you will be given a pager for workers to contact you if needed. The pager should be placed somewhere on your person. you will then be given a 3 part identification tag. One sticker is for your child’s belongings, one for your child and one for you. Please keep the tag with you for proper check-out. All preschool and Kindergartners will be given an ID bracelet that will match their parent’s ID number. Please wear your ID number with your child for appropriate Check-out.

How do I Check-out my babies through Kindergarten kids?

For babies and Toddlers simply return your pager to the check-in table, and hand your identification tag over to your child’s workers. For Preschool and Kindergartners please show your ID bracelet to your child’s workers so we can match your numbers.

How do I work the Pager you gave me?

The pager should be placed somewhere on your person. if you are needed the pager will vibrate. when you are paged please come immediately to your child’s classroom. Press the large button to stop the vibrations. 

Do you need volunteers and how can I sign up?

We do need a lot of volunteers to help us create a safe and relevant environment. we have several volunteer teams with a wide variety of roles that can be designed to fit lots of different people. the commitment is simple - it’s whatever you can do for us! if you’re interested in volunteering, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
