It seems that every person, at some point in their life, experiences moments in the dark. It’s a moment of sadness, hopelessness, or despair. It’s a moment where the darkness closes in and crushes possibilities. It’s generally not a place we seek. Nobody really wants to be “in the dark”.
In Scripture we find an individual who had to spend a lot of time in darkness. He was often banished to caves. It was in those moments that He expressed some of his most heart-felt expressions to a God who sees in the dark.
