Building and maintaining healthy relationships is one of the greatest challenges we face in life. It’s a struggle. Getting along with people is a huge struggle! Sometimes we may even wonder if healthy relationships are possible.
There is one key that helps in this process of having “happy relationships” and that key is forgiveness. This series will investigate the depths of forgiveness, and how we can have a clean, new start with the people we hurt and the peoplewho hurt us. Our journey will help us know how to give forgiveness, seek forgiveness, and guard against refusing forgiveness.

Our own community leader, Salome Thomas-El, gives an inspiring talk about what it takes for an organization to help make their leader successful. As Principal El says, "good followers are good leaders" and we can each improve our leadership ability by first learning to be a good follower. Salome Thomas-El was born and raised in inner city Philadelphia, and has been a teacher in the Philadelphia school district since 1987 including being the former principle of John F. Reynolds Elementary School in North Philadelphia. Salome's faith and commitment has inspired hundreds of children in Philadelphia to attend magnate high schools, major colleges and universities.
